Enki chair - elm
The Enki chair fuses unique artistry with masterful craftsmanship.
The piece features a playful leaf-shaped backrest, joined to the seat with a tusk-tenon joint. This traditional joint, rarely used in chair-making, adds unique character and remarkable durability.
The gently-angled legs are individually shaped using hand tools, creating a subtly-irregular, faceted surface. Each is joined to the seat with wedged tenons.
The seat is shaped by hand, with gentle curves to support the body’s contours.
The chair is crafted from sustainably-sourced British elm. The piece is also available in ebonised oak.
